Wenatchee Home Buyers and Sellers and Commercial sales in 2026

Super Bowl Sunday and the 2026 Real Estate Market is off and running! Wenatchee home buyers and sellers and commercial sales 2026 are waking up! Simply put, I think we are on the edge of an excellent market!

Keep in mind all real estate is local. So in my office we have noticed a marked increase in people wanting to sell their home to move up and also to downsize. The same is true for buyers! As inventory climbs buyers are having some product to pick from. Though still a sellers market the drop in interest rates from a year ago and prospects for further drops are breathing new life into the market.

First the bulk of our market is still in the $400,000-$525,000. The median price is around $510,000. Lots of people are eager to learn. Next learn about the ins and outs. Understand Prices. Plus interest rates. Many rates are in the 5% zone! A year ago 7% was the norm.

My mortgage banking friends are seeing an upturn. Home inspectors are  booked 7 days out.

Furthermore, next few weeks will determine the direction of the market. Home buyers and sellers usually increase activity as weather improves. Commercial activity is influenced by interest rates and GNP. Only time will tell. Finally national trends have an effect. Lots of variables involved.
